Bharath Mata has been blessed with numerous wonderful creatures. In particular, we are the civilization that has been graced by the divine presence of Goddess Kamadhenu (also called Surabhi). Gau Mata has provided sustenance to millions of people in India for millennia. Like children taking care of their parents in their old age, we can support Gau Mata and other local fauna by contributing to their care.
As part of our Jeevdaya program, we seek offerings and donations to protect and preserve our local animals. In addition to Gau Mata, we also care for monkeys (a species close to Shri Hanumanji’s heart), birds and other small creatures.
Shower your compassion (daya) for our fellow species by contributing to their welfare. Your donations will be used to sponsor their food, medicines and other upkeep requirements. We will also use your donations to repair animal sheds and enclosures and also to pay our animal caretakers for their constant care and attention.
If you prefer, you can make a one-time contribution to our Jeevdaya program, where it will be used to support our fauna. You can also “adopt” an animal for the year, by paying for its annual food, medication and upkeep. (Please note, you will not be allowed to take the animal home or to your premises after adoption.)
