Thousands of people in Karnataka are underprivileged and unable to have two square meals a day. This, in particular, is affecting the health of young children, women of childbearing age and pregnant mothers.
A nutritious meal a day can protect and safeguard the health of these vulnerable populations. This is why, the Shri Bhagawan Mahaveer Manavatha Kendra Trust runs an Annadaan camp regularly, to seek donations in kind from its kind and generous patrons.
In the Varaha Purana, there is a saying – “One who gives food, gives all that is worth giving in this world”. Annadaan can bring you and your family untold blessings, happiness and peace for generations to come.
Share the blessing of a meal with those less fortunate than you and help them gain nourishment and sustenance. You can donate fruits, vegetables, rice, pulses, grains, dry fruits, oil, ghee, butter, paneer, spices, condiments and other vegetarian edible items.
The donations you make will be used to feed the poor, destitute and marginalized residents residing near the temple and in the cities of Mysuru and Bengaluru. At the Shri Bhagawan Mahaveer Manavatha Kendra Trust, we have also set up Annadaan events in the state of Rajasthan, where we conduct food drives for the local underprivileged people.
