The Lord Anjaneya Swami temple is located on a massive, lush property on the Bidadi-Ramanagara highway. It is a verdant place, populated with fruit & flower-bearing trees – an oasis of calm from the hectic and materialistic life of the city.

The Hanumanji Temple is open to people of all faiths, walks of life and abilities. In addition to the Hanumanji Temple, we also have a Shri Ganesha temple, Shri Krishna Janaki Temple and Shri Mahaveer Swami Temple on our premises.

A visit to this soothing sanctuary can replenish your body, recharge your mind and rejuvenate your soul.

How to reach the temple?

  • By road:
    • Visitors from Bengaluru and nearby places in Karnataka can visit the Lord Anjaneya Swami temple by personal vehicle or cab. From Bengaluru, the distance is around 50Kms. Visitors from Mysuru will have to travel approximately 98Kms to reach the temple.
    • There are numerous buses run by the KSRTC, which ply from all across Karnataka. If you take a KSRTC bus, you must alight at Ramanagara station and hire an auto/cab to reach the temple.
  • By train
    • Travellers coming by train from within or outside Karnataka, must get down at Ramanagara railway station and take a local cab/auto to reach the temple.
  • By air
    • Indian or foreign visitors flying into Bengaluru, can book a cab from Kempegowda International Airport to our temple premises. You can also directly book a cab from your hotel to the temple premises.

Ramanagara city has many safe, clean and beautifully maintained hotels where you can book your stay for the duration of your visit to the Shri Hanumanji temple.

Travellers coming in from Bengaluru, Mysuru and other nearby places can easily return home on the same day after darshan, if they choose to do so.

Climate & temperature

The Bidadi-Ramanagara highway, where the Lord Anjaneya Swami temple is located, boasts of having a beautiful moderate climate. Warm sunny days, followed by cool evenings are common. Rain is infrequent.

Booking your darshan

Visitors to the temple need not book their darshan prior to their arrival. You are welcome to visit the temple anytime between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM.

The Shri Bhagawan Mahaveer Manavatha Kendra Trust runs other services such as:

  • Annadaan – Donation of food for the destitute.
  • Jeevdaya – Donation to the Goshala, bird sanctuary and other animal care activities.
  • ENT & Dental health check-up camps – A free service offered to people from poorer and marginalized communities.
  • Event hall – Bookings for any events such as religious events, marriages and cultural events can be made at our event halls.

Do’s & don’ts during your visit

 Do’s 

  • Do freshen up and wash your hands and feet before entering the temple.
  • Do wear modest clothing during your visit.
  • Do carry your Aarati/Abhishek/Bhog tickets with you either in print or digital format.
  • Do feel free to visit all four temples and seek the divine blessings of the Gods and Goddesses.
  • Do deposit your offerings at the designated stations.

 Don’ts 

  • Don’t wear shoes inside the temple.
  • Don’t take any photos of the vigrahas.
  • Don’t shout slogans or prayers inside the sanctum sanctorum, as it may disturb other visitors.
  • Don’t offer any tips to temple employees – instead, deposit your tips in the designated donation boxes in the temple premises.
  • Don’t leave your footwear and bags unattended.
  • Don’t trust your belongings with strangers.

  • The Lord Anjaneya Swami vigraha is 11 feet high and weighs 17 tons.
  • The vigraha’s Kadige moves and jingles independently as if they were alive.
  • We have event halls spanning 44×65 in size, with a built-in kitchen, that can be booked for just INR 5000.
